Guided by this universal duty, the Happy Nepal Foundation was created, rooted in the stunning landscapes of Nepal. As a non-profit organization, we strive to provide underprivileged but talented children with education and to promote the well-being of underprivileged women, elderly, and all humanity.
We are the Happy Nepal Foundation, established in Canada, with a mission to uplift underprivileged children in Nepal through education and advance women empowerment regardless of geography.
We define underprivileged as students with strong academic motivation and commitment, but lacking the financial resources or stable conditions needed to continue their education.
Our program connects Nepali students in need with individuals or families abroad who sponsor the child’s or youth’s educational journey. Through these meaningful connections, sponsors help shape a child’s future while building a lasting bond that extends beyond borders. By supporting a child, you are helping create a brighter future, and in return, they become a meaningful part of your extended family.
Children growing up abroad may sometimes feel disconnected from their home country. By participating in kids’ sponsorships, they can reconnect in a meaningful way. Supporting a child’s education fosters a strong bond with their roots while cultivating a lifelong sense of contribution and purpose.

Hello, my name is Shobha Bhattakhanal, and I founded Happy Nepal Foundation to support vulnerable children and women by connecting resources with genuine need.
